Range: Worldwide. In the United States, this cockroach was historically an Eastern U.S. species. These insects now are established in the sewers of Los Angeles. Alameda County Vector Control reports that they also appear in the sewers of Oakland, CA. Habitat: They inhabit warm building basements and sewer systems. Food: omnivorous.
