Small forms 2-9 mm in length with eyes absent. They may be readily distinguished
from Protura by the presence of antennae and cerci. Collecting: Found commonly
under objects on the ground where they prefer damp habitats. Use of the Berlese
funnel on damp soil and litter samples may produce them in quantity.
