Common in
Bathrooms and Restaurants
Psychodids superficially resemble tiny moths. However, like all flies
they have only a single pair of wings. Like moths, they are densely clothed
in wing scales and at rest wings form a tent over the body. Wings are somewhat
pointed apically. There are no obvious cross-veins on the wing membrane.
R are 5-branched. Adults are about 5 mm or less in length.
