Similar to
dobsonflies and fishflies
(Family
Corydalidae), but smaller (usually less than 1 inch); without ocelli,
and with 4th tarsal segment dilated and deeply bilobed. Blackish or grey,
somewhat lacewing like in appearance but with the hind wings slightly wider
at the base than the front wings.
