Chrysopids tend to have less complicated venation than the other families
Neuroptera.
Unlike
Hemerobiidae,
their costal veins are simple in contrast with
Myrmeleontidae they have well developed,
moniliform antennae. True to their common name, most species are green. Wings
and body: usually greenish; eyes golden to copper-colored.
